I'm looking to get about 15+ players together for an hour or two - I have an idea for a mini-scenario ...

it's in my Battle for Australia 1942-1954 series
inspired by some wargames like Axis & Allies, a book called The Moscow Option, and the recent film Australia showing the air raid on Darwin 1942

This is the opening days of the Japanese assault on New Guinea and Australia

After a landing, the Japanese are concerned with getting their perimeter secured, clearing the Mission station, and moving their supply dump off the beach while the Allies are planning a counter-attack, possibly to rescue the Missionaries.

Do you think we might convince some of you to join us Browncoats on a Saturday in early to mid-May ?

Currently the location is a spot in public forrest we frequently play near Lynx Lake, a few miles south of Highway 69 along Walker Road. Team Browncoats is checking if there's a better spot out by Thumb Butte or another property. We're preparing temporary structures and props we can transport to the site; the Mission, the Landing Craft, etc.

First proposal is/was for May 2, players sign in at 10 AM, Game On at 11 AM - however we're still looking over our options, a lot of sentiment thinks that's too short, it's my Scenario but I'm out of town for the 16 and 23 ... so up here we're kicking it around ... sorry to get folks stirred up today ...
