Hi, my name is Mike, and I would LOVE to come out and play with you guys. I have 4 years on and off paint ball experience and 2 years military experience so I'm by no means a green horn, but I'm willing to admit I probably have some work to do to get to the level you guys are playing at. I've been working on enhancing my stealth and marksmanship abilities and am planning to invest in a full Gillie suit to play in. I use a Tippmann A-5 with a Flatline barrel, and have an old model 98 with a flatline for backup. I'm still working on replacing some of my old lost equipment, but I have enough to play right now. I studies battlefield tactics and strategy in high school and have read Sun Tzu, Art of War. I've played all the old RTS games, war craft, star craft, red alert, etc. and I am well versed in most of the FPS games, (half life, counterstrike, halo, ETC). Because of my military background, I am familiar with and will easily mesh with a command structure such as yours. I'm not really in super great shape right now, but I have the determination to keep going when I have a goal in mind, no matter how much out of breathe it makes me. The heat does not bother me, "Drink water, Drive on!" I would love to come out and play ball with you guys and look forward to meeting such a great and interesting-sounding group of guys and gals. Thanks for replying to my friend request.

so it's not a meet and greet so much as a greet and shoot now eh? God I love paintball. I was going to go up to a place a little closer to lake pleasant on saturday by this old rusty windmill, pretty cool place, to play. How much does it cost to get into cowtown? I've got limited funds. what kind of scenarios do you guys like to play? have you ever played a zombie scenario before? I've always wanted to try that. What does the sniper challenge consist of? Do you guys consider the A-5 with a flatline a good marker?

I think cowtown is 20 to get in and includes air fills, co2 im not sure of, it is byop or they sell paint there. Cowtown is right next to lake pleasant as well. As far as the a-5, its an alright marker, can take a beating like no other, its really affordable and has pretty much unlimited mod's and upgrades. IF you want performance there are way better markers out there but be prepared to spend the $$$

I would defenetly have to agree with you killer, from my aspect of it. If your just getting into the game a nice reliable and cheap marker (money wise) is the best thing for you. Its always a killer when you go head over heals and then to find out well maybe paintball isnt what i thought after you spent the big bucks.

From everything I have been reading and getting to shoot one off a few weeks ago I would say the best performance scenario/mil-sim/rec ball/woods ball gun out right now is the TM7, which they just dropped the retail price from 430 to just under 400. Its basically the guts of a mini in an mp7 shell with rails, fore grip, and stock built in. Out of the box does like 15 bps and rumors that people have gotten 20 bps out of the box with a little tweaking you can get them even faster. I don't own one but 2 of the guys on the team do and one of them let me shoot a hopper through it and it AWESOME. Very steady and almost ball on ball, went to full auto and shot ropes.

for a comparable price the SP-1 is a good choice also

he is right! before spending lotsa $$$ play a few games with a rental marker and with a squad to determine what type of position you plan to play. . . . i would suggest u go to brigade.specialopspaintball.com/main.phpits free to register and it clearly explains the difference in positions and as a bonus it records your kills and deaths which tracks in a line chart!! you also collect "ranks" for each position you train in!! if you want you can use my recruiter ID # 106256

Hey guys, and girls, this is Will D. I played for Blue at the C Town incident, and I'm interested in playing more with A o W. I'm 39 and I play with an AutoCocker. I've got a lot of paintball xp. Hopefully, I'll see you guys this weekend. The Incident was by far the best game I ever played in, by the way. Let's do it again next year!
