Dark Star is proud to host our 2009 TIPPMANN CHALLENGE on Sunday, March 22nd at Fort Adobe Paintball Complex.
This is a 3-man event designed for NEW and REC PLAYERS ONLY. If you have played regional or national speedball tournaments (NPPL, XPSL, PSP, etc.), you may not enter this event.
Format will be the same as last year. Three minute games on airball/astro turf fields, straight elimination (no flags). DARK STAR WILL PROVIDE ALL EQUIPMENT AND PAINTBALLS. You may use your own mask if you wish, or we will supply one for you. Players will be using Tippmann 98 Custom markers with compressed air and gravity-fed hoppers.
When everybody uses the same equipment, the tournament comes down to who has the most skill, not who can afford the fanciest gear ..... so come show us what you can do!
Entry fee of $165 per 3-man team includes paint, field entry and use of gear. You don't have to bring anything..... just show up ready to play. Entry DEADLINE is March 17th (St. Patrick's Day.) Teams may sign up in person at Dark Star or online at www.DarkStarPaintball.com (select the Tournament Sign-Up link on the left side of the home page.)
