Hello Teams,
We have collected E-mails that teams have sent us over the past week. In this E-mail we hope to address some of the issues you have brought forth. We want to thank all of you who continue to believed in what we are doing and have helped us along the way. Your E-mails of thanks and support mean a lot to us, and make us think we are on the right track.
The next event on May 9th at Hollywood Sports Park is shaping up to be quite the big show. Not only will all the same media be there, we will also be having vendors coming in from Las Vegas to set up booths. It was such a cool thing to see families at our last event, the idea that you can get your whole family involved in this great sport gave us an idea. Why not make it easier on you to go out and play? Bring the family, we will be having our own family area. HSP was once a golf course, they have lots of grass and a whole beach sand area with plenty of places to set up a BBQ. (bring your own meat) We will have companies sponsor things like a jumper for the kids, a re-ball shooting gallery with prizes, a DJ and more.
If you feel we have not addressed any of your concerns please E-mail us A.S.A.P. so we can rectify the situation.

Here are a list of problems and solutions we have received from the teams.
The BusinessProblem.The paperwork.
This is what caused the hour long delay in the morning.
Some teams only filled out some of the waivers, other teams none at all.
Solution. Pre-Register
We will post the waivers on the site.
All teams must have all the waivers and rules signed along with their whole teams entrance fee, before they can receive their wrist band.
Problem.un-organized
We hired a professional scheduling person, her name is Paddy and she does tournaments for a living.
She is the best on the tournament circuit.
The problem was we also saddled her with the task of taking money and registering players.
She did great, but this was not her job, not only did this overwhelm her but we lost $1000 somewhere in the mix.
Solution.Hire a one person for each job
We are hiring a person to run the registration part of the process so things go faster and smoother, also so paddy can do her job.
Problem.The website needs fixing and a once over.
YES we agree
Solution. We are working on re-vamping it.
We are in the process of re-doing it.
Problem.Please don’t use papyrus fonts, I can’t read what you send me!
Sorry. We were trying to stay with the Woodsball theme.
Solution. We are switching to the Times Roman.
Hope this clears up things.
The Referees Problem.The NPPL refs were not using the WTL rules.
Some were and some were not.
Solution. The Referees have to read the WTL rules.
Dave Diaz the head NPPL Ref and I take full responsibly for this.
This was not a problem at our first event, so I assumed the Refs had read up on our rules again.
Apparently this was not the case. Dave Diaz will be coming to my office so we can go over the rules and fix this problem.
Problem.At the end of our game my team had more plays yet they called tie.
Ouch, another NPPL rule I don’t like.
When I found out about this happening, I asked Dave how do we fix this situation, he said it’s too late in the games and it will affect the other teams scores and become a big mess.
I don’t like messes.
Solution. This is a simple game of elimination.
If seven minutes end and your team has 5 players and the other team has 2 players, YOUR TEAM WINS!!
Problem.A player ran out of paint and asked the ref if he could pick it up from the ground and use it, the ref said yes.
What!!!! I wish I could have cloned myself.
2 Pods 280 BALLS ONLY.
Solution. Again Refs not following the WTL rules.
We will make sure this kind of stuff doesn’t happen again.
Problem.Pulling 1 for 1
Another NPPL rule that is not in the WTL rules
Solution. Again Refs not following the WTL rules.

Problem.Being shot while calling for a paint check.
This rule was one of our founding rules.
You can’t be shot while asking for a paint check.
This is not NPPL, XPSL, PSP.
This is the WTL!!!
Solution. Again Refs not following the WTL rules.
Yes I know I’m repeating myself, We will make sure this kind of stuff doesn’t happen again.
The GameProblem.Size of paint hitting you IE Quarter, Nickel or Dime.
A hit is a hit is a hit, we are not talking about a splatter caused by a paintball hitting the bunker you are next to. We are talking about you getting hit. If you get hit by a paintball and it explodes on you, you are hit
Solution.If the Paintball explodes on you, you are hit.
Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Half Dollars, Silver Dollars, Susan B. Anthony Etc. You hit.
Problem.No grenades or rocket launchers allowed day of game.
We wanted to make sure we were clear on this point, we only were re-enforcing what was in the rules and what was sent out to the captains on the last E-mail.
We did not change anything
From the rules: Prohibited Markers and Exotic Weapons 28. Grenade or rocket launchers - For the February 15th Event.
Solution. Sorry for the miss-communication ,

Problem.Teams breaking the rules
· Bunkering and over shooting, with a PUMP!
· Un-Sportsman like conduct
· ETC
Solution. This Kind of Stuff rubs me the wrong way!!
We became aware of a team, that towards the end of the day forgot which tournament they were playing in, and started not only breaking the rules, but causing harm to other players. Again, I wish I was there when this happened. This really hits me personally, not only does it affect the tournament, but this is a personal affront to me, I have contacted the party in question, and explained to them they will not get another warning, if they are caught displaying this behavior again, they will be banned from the WTL.
Problem.Not enough breaks in between games.
We are trying our best to look after your best interest and well being.
Solution. Sorry, we are not trying to wear you out.
We are working with our scheduling person Paddy to fix this situation.
Problem.We did not get to play all teams, I didn’t get to play “ “ “ Team
If I had my way we would be using 4 fields and let every team play each other.
Solution. I have received some ideas from some of the players on how we can fix this.
We will be looking at this with Paddy and seeing what we can do.
Problem.Too much kronoing

Solution. We will krono at the beginning of the game.
And then do random checks during the day

We will be doing the raffle different next game, same great prizes, more efficient prize distribution.
The FieldsOnly thing I can tell you is, will be playing in
Apocalypse, so now would be a good time to walk the field and play it a couple of times before the next event.
